Dear coaches, dear dancers, parents and fans of dancing, this is the date of our international competition

We greatly appreciate the fact that this year will also take place under the auspices of the Governor of the Moravian-Silesian Region, Ing. Josef Bělica, MBA.
The PIERRO FORTE Association, in collaboration with the PIERRO FORTE dance club, is organizing the 7th annual international dance competition MEMORIAL OF PETR ČUBAN – DANCE OSTRAVA GRAND PRIX 2024.
Competitors will be competing in solos, duos, pairs, and small and large groups. Participants can choose from many disciplines, and we believe that everyone will find something to enjoy. We are doing everything we can to ensure you enjoy our competition and, most importantly, have a great dance experience.
Our long-term goal is to elevate dance as an art form and contribute to its stable development. The motto of TK Pierro Forte and the entire competition is Petr’s* legacy "DANCE IN THE HEART."
For the first time in 2023, and we believe it will continue annually, our competition had the character of a charity event. Since it is a memorial dedicated to its co-founder Petr Čuban, we donate a portion of the proceeds from the entry fees to the non-profit organization DLOUHÁ CESTA, which supports bereaved parents.
*Petr Čuban – an outstanding dancer, judge, and co-founder of the OSTRAVSKÁ VLOČKA and DANCE OSTRAVA GRAND PRIX competitions, who tragically died in December 2021 while performing his duties.
The project is co-financed by the statutory city of Ostrava, the city district of Slezská Ostrava.
